She-Werewolf in 3 Forms, "Lycanthropic Triptych"
"Lycanthropic Triptych"
It's not technically a triptych, as defined by Dictionary.com, but I like how it sounds.
All three of these ladies are one character from "Escapia", one of my defunct fantasy novel projects that might become a graphic novel project after I finish "Camo" (whenever that is though I have finally begun making actual frames with dialogue for Camo).
This is Arix, the werewolf, in three forms.
She's a low-ranking omega werewolf, as she appears in her wolfiest form at left. When the human kingdom of Quintessentia began accepting (some) magical creatures into its society, she began passing her most human form off as an elf, with the help of her pointed ears and general air of not-quite-humanness (at right.) (Due to the rarity and mystery of elves in Quintessentia, she's been able to pull it off). At center, she is halfway between the two forms, practicing her secret profession as a formidable warrior and huntress.
(She has some sort of magical item - I haven't decided what yet - which allows her to control her transformations.)
As I was working on this, I also wrote and recorded a little one-minute dramatic scene between Arix and her human fiancee, Quesiel, Lord of Escalon, who lives in the castle in the backdrop. Note that this scene does not take place in the pic above, and that I don't really have a British accent .
