You'd probably be better off either drawing one library background and using that for any pics in a library, or perhaps drawing "sets" of books in such a way that you can just rearrange them to form different backgrounds.

Though that's just an idea, its how I would do it to make it easier, but I guess it may not be suitable for every pic.

I sorta did something like that, I drew like 3 or 4 sets of books and rearrange them, but still it took me awhile, I think I just need to practice more XD

Well I mean something like making each set of books a separate pic that you can copy in and rearrange so you don't have to draw new ones every time. Would take time drawing them the first time, but any other pic where you need books you could just copy them in. But then I'm not really an artist so I don't know whether that would be too suitable, personally I think the focus should be on the character so I would imagine that saving time on the background that way would be fine.

Anyway no problem. ^.^ Just thought of that because I did something similar for a game I was making, reused parts that is.
