Lector the Slime-Armed Gator
Lector is a part of a race of gator-people, who live in a hilly, swamp area close by to a coast and coastal region. Lector wasn't born with his slime arm, but instead gained it through many unfortunate events that deeply affected him and his people. He and his tribe all lived together relatively peacefully in their swamp home, just one generation after many past ones. One day, however, a scouting party moving along the edges of the swamp and hills spotted something alarming coming over the horizon: a fleet of giant ships. These ships belonged to a kingdom of lizard-people that originates from a continent far across the sea, and they are anything but friendly, seeking to claim any land possible for their kingdom. The gator tribe learned this the hard way, after sending a different scouting party to greet the lizard people and tell them they come in peace after they landed. Despite defensive preparations though, the party was slaughtered, as an example to the rest of the tribe that they now knew existed in this swampland. Among the fallen, was a close friend of Lector's. This instilled in him a silent anger and a thirst for vengeance against these lizard people. Despite many gator people having a fighting spirit in their guts, the tribe's leader knew he had to think of the whole tribe, and forbade any fighting. He personally had snuck to their own borders and seen the threat, and knew they could not win in any sort of war of against the lizard-people. Instead, he willingfully met with the lizard-people's leader, and set up a deal with him. Instead of the gator-people tribe being completely slaughtered, they would instead become members of the lizard-people's kingdom. However, this meant the swamp would completely be owned by the lizards, and at anytime, they could procure any gator-person they wanted, and subject them to any duties they required. All gator-people also were forced to wear special bracelets and anklets, that were able to drain one's energy when triggered, making it impossible for anyone to escape. Many gator-people were subjected effectively to slavery, while others were used to fill in other job roles. After much time had passed, and his swamp home had been covered in many technologically advanced homes and facilities, Lector was selected, but was fortunately given the role of scientist. Through this role, he learned many things about technology, and actually increased his intellect. However, after a small revolt was attempted by other gator-men scientists, gator-men were then forbidden to have this role, and Lector became a slave instead. More time passed, until the fateful day came where Lector would escape from the kingdom of lizard-people. On this day, Lector was surprised to find he had been selected as the candidate for some kind of secret experiment. He was taken away to one of the science facilities, and strapped down to a table, and was prepped to be injected with some kind of transformative fluid. Overhearing the lizard scientists, he discovered the intended function of the fluid was to tf the host into effectively a slime monster: one that was very powerful, but dumb enough that they could easily be controlled. The fluid would allow the lizard-people to change Lector's people into a monstrous army. Preparing for the worst, Lector was injected with the fluid in his right shoulder. However, unexpected to the scientists, the fluid spread incorrectly, and only changed Lector's right arm. Realizing what happened, Lector acted quickly, slipping his slime arm free easily from it's bond and knocking out the scientists before they could trigger his bracelets and anklets. After this, Lector took a moment to learn some things his new arm could do, and, taking one of the scientist's passes, successfully snuck out of the facility and out of the swamp. While his people assumed he had been killed, Lector hid away outside of his homeland and learned of what he could exactly do with his new limb. He also took this time to adjust and tinker with his bracelets and anklets to suit his own needs. Weeks later, Lector reappeared all of a sudden, but not as his people would have ever expected. He was large, hulking, and powerful, a real kind of monster. He broke down many walls, was able to free many of his people, and successfully disabled all of their bracelets and anklets. Then, standing before them, Lector's bracelets and anklets turned on, and he shrunk back to his normal self, slime arm raised. The gator-people he saved rejoiced, and he vowed that day that he would bring down the lizard-people, for the sake of his tribe and for his lost friend.
Yep, a new character! Lector! Took me a bit too long to finish this guy, haha, sorry about that <:3
But yeah, hope you all enjoyed this pic and story, and be on the lookout! I'll be posting a picture of his "monster" form I mentioned in the story ;3
Also, in case anyone wanted to know, Lector is in his early twenties ^^
