Hello everyone got another one for ye, This is my GreatPlanes Electriflight F16 which I've had since 2013, unassembled of course. I decided to build it out of board-um lol and here it is, almost done! Forgive my mess btw not a whole lot of room. I still have to install the catapult hook and finger pads and setup the control throws (Very important with jets) I broke in the fan tonight and placed the decals. Should be ready to fly by next weekend. This thing is capable of over 100 mph which is fast for a little 45mm EDF model. I cant wait to maiden it! its gonna be fun... hopefully. Yeah it defently has a sonic scream to it. The grass it will be landing on is the main runway at my club its short but soft but yeah thick grass and weeds are murder on stabs and the fan its self. Im not new to jets this one is the smallest one i've had though. I came from the Nitro ducted fan era which the turbines replaced. my last nitro DF was a yellow aircraft F86 with a dynamax fan, power was a K&B 11.5 cc pretty hot engine but loved to throw rod if you didn't replace them regularly.
