I've been creating grateful speedpaints for over a year and one thing I'm reoccurringly grateful for are artists & people who inspire me, and I've wanted to create gifts for those people who have given me so much through their art, advice, or just pure presence in my world.

Gift #5 is for Caraid. Her art is full of rich detail & she does wonders with light. The moment I heard she had a patreon, I was on it!

She's very open about her process, which I've learned a lot from. Her patreon streams & critiques are simply brilliant.
It's rare to find an artist who gives so much of her time to educating others. I hope to be in a position to do the same some day.

I'm grateful to have this inspiring artist and mentor in my life. It gives me so much to strive for!

2hr speedpaint.

In 2016 I started journaling daily. Part of that writing process has been to write 3 things I am grateful for each morning.

I've been sharing these three things along with a speedpaint every Mon-Fri.
This practice has benefited me artistically as well as emotionally. My hope is, that by sharing these grateful speed paintings, you guys feel some of those good vibes too (Smile)
