Hey, it's my intersex boy! And also Faith! Check out her stories and art in my gallery! This is about the two of them meeting up at a bar! Enjoy! I had a good time writing it! It's really fluffy! Also, transformation!

Gemini sat at the bar, running his finger along the rim of his empty glass. He always felt foolish, ordering soda when everyone around him enjoyed cocktails, hard liquor, and beer. Luckily, the staff of his usual spot had begun to recognize him and would save him the embarrassment of audibly ordering. Instead, as he took his weekly seat, an orange soda would be placed in front of him with a nod.
He didn’t come to this upscale bar for the drinks. His reoccurring trips were fueled by the desire to find a mate. Every night, while pounding his virgin ambrosia, he would build his courage. The boy would rehearse in his head, over and over: “Oh, excuse me. My name is Gemini. I just saw you from across the bar and-” He would scratch his head and put on a sly grin “I was wondering if I could get to know you better.”
After running through the script a few times, his stress would eclipse his courage. Stress, in turn, would trigger his change. As his hair and chest grew, all he could do was hide his face and run away from the trained eyes he knew followed his odd motions. He would quickly run to a public restroom, slip on his emergency sports bra, slap some money on the counter, and run home, shaking the entire way. Curses would befall his reflection, the girl he saw in the mirror through thick tears.
This continued for months, every time he would be overcome with loneliness, he would partake in another public rendition, up to his untimely yet reliable curtain call. He made sure to make these appearances only when he presented a male top, tracing fingers down his flat chest. A final glance in the mirror and a firm swallow were his final checks before he made his journey.
This preventative pattern was broken on a cold winter’s day. He had been stressed since early morning and had forgotten his change had taken place, even though he had already changed tops. Fingers fell to his coat, rather than his chest, and his image was muddled by a tight snow-cap that obscured his head. When he walked into the bar and put up his winter gear, he realized he presented as a female. His stomach dropped, heart rising to his throat, and he worried all other organs would follow suit and vacate his midsection.
He thought about running back home, diving into his bed and forgetting all about this experience. His plan was cut short by a nod from the bartender, who had already anointed his spot with a beverage. Though he was embarrassed already, he couldn’t run out on a tab. Paw-pads made gentle taps across the tiled floor, feeling daggers on him from all around the room. “Just finish the drink and leave. Just finish the drink and leave.” He repeated the mantra in his head, but he ran into an issue very quickly.
At the first sip, he choked on the soda, eyes closing as he ran from the perceived judgement of those around him. The bartender, who had a tender heart, set a stack of napkins in front of the dog. Gemini quickly wiped his face, tucking his nose down to his lap. Just as tears were starting to fill his eyes, a voice broke through the noise that threatened to drown him.
“Oh, I don’t think you’re really what I’m looking for tonight. Thank you, though!”
The voice was complacent, yet endearingly apologetic. When Gemini scanned the room, he found the girl seated next to him. The revelation made him jump in his chair, hiding his face again. He tried to cover his long hair and his feminine looks. After a few moments of hiding in his bunker, a paw on his shoulder startled him.
He froze, eyes going wide in terror. Slowly, he sat up to face his summoner. The paw belonged to a sweet fox-girl, whose wings flapped wide when the pair made eye contact. She held a wide smile and a sincere conviction. “Are you okay, ma’am?”
Gemini felt like he’d been punched in the gut. His soda turned to acid in his stomach, petrifying.
The mysterious girl recoiled, clearly shocked by the reaction. “Oh, no! What did I do?”
The apparently female dog shrank down before eeking out a response. “I’m a boy.”
The fox jumped back, paws over her maw and wings fully out, startling a passing patron. “Oh, honey, I’m so sorry! I didn’t realize! I-” Realizing her ramblings weren’t helping, she sought another course of action. “Why don’t I buy you a drink?”
The boy shook his head. “I’m not old enough.”
Regardless, the winged girl shot two fingers at the bartender. Two drinks were shortly brought to their spot. They had a brilliant red shine and bubbled at each jostle. “Don’t worry about that! I love the cranberry-apple juice here. I have them make it a special way, just for me!” She set the glass in front of the reserved boy. “I’m Faith by the way. Do you have a name?”
He shot her a confused look. There was no hint of sarcasm in her question. “I’m Gemini.”
Her wings shot out and re-folded, making a light breeze through the entire bar. “That’s a beautiful name! I love it! And you’re also really cute, which is just another thing I like about you!”
Gemini tried to avoid the conversation by taking a sip of the offered drink. His ears immediately perked up, and the rest of him quickly followed. “This is really delicious. You said it was cranberry-apple? What else is in there?”
Faith smiled, showing her first hint of tease. “I can’t give away my secrets that easily! But if we keep talking, I might let it slip!”
As the night went on, Gemini found the girl incredibly easy to talk to. Every extension he made of himself was mirrored by the girl, every offering accepted, and every stumble was calmly allowed. He felt safe, like he was allowed to be himself.
After they had exchanged stories of their home lives and careers, Gemini made a bold push. “Hey, Faith? Um-” He scratched the back of his head.
She craned her neck, eyebrows rising. “What is it, Gem?”
He coughed before he could answer. “I was wondering if you wanted to- uh, well-”
She absentmindedly put her paw on his, which cleared his head enough to force out the question.
“Do you want to come home with me tonight?” It was clearer than most of his practice deliveries. He felt like he was talking to a friend, rather than trying to lure prey to their demise.
It was received on equally light-hearted spirits. “I’d love to! But you’ll have to take me there! I don’t know where that is!”
Gemini giggled at Faith’s response, though he wasn’t sure if it was a joke or a serious concern. Regardless, he led her to his home. He quickly ran in before her, scooping up boxers and sports bras. He abandoned the task once Faith entered his bedroom behind him. “You have a nice home!”
The boy turned beet red, holding his clothes tight and falling back on his unmade full bed. Faith seemed completely oblivious to the state of the room, even to what was in Gemini’s arms. Instead, she sat beside him, paws forming a tidy pile in her own lap. “What should we do now?” Gemini choked on his words, taking a little too long to recover, and Faith offered a list of options. “We could make some food, because neither of us ate at the bar, or we could watch TV, or we could just hold each other and go to bed!”
A weak smile was offered, and with a meager voice, he made his choice. “I’d really like to hold you Faith. But, uh, you should know-” He fiddled with his fingers, gradually letting his clothes fall to the floor. Faith attentively waited for the conclusion to his admission. “I have- well- boy parts. At least, uh, my lower half.” His entire body slumped, a shriveling mess before his partner.
She quickly broke the deterioration with a gentle paw on his wrist, which also ended his fiddling. “That’s okay, honey! I like who you are.” Her peaceful smile melted the last of his stress away. A tender kiss found his forehead. “I’m gonna go get ready in your bathroom. I’ll come back fresh and ready for bed!”
Gemini nodded, but before he could respond, Faith had disappeared into the washroom. At first, the dog boy managed to distract himself by fidgeting, but soon found his mind wandering. He casually played out every situation he could think of for the night’s activities. After a few minutes, he had arranged his concerns in an orderly list: he wouldn’t be impressive enough physically, he would let his emotional baggage show too much, and he wouldn’t pick up on her social queues. The first was his primary worry.
“I know I’m not much, but we can still try, right?” His heartbeat rose as he tried to work himself out of his soliloqual predicament. “I’ll work really hard on making you feel good. I promise. I’ll really do my best. We can just forget about physical stuff all together.” His breath shortened, body tensing, and words cut short. He pushed his legs together, crossing his arms over his chest.
That’s when he realized that he had, once again, missed his transformation. His eyes opened wide and he completely froze, all shaking disappearing in an instant, paw grasping his flat chest. He nearly had a heart attack when the door opened, Faith sauntering back into the room. She froze as soon as she took stock of his state. “Did something happen while I was in there?”
The boy shot her a disbelieving grin. “I- I-” His head shook. “Can you really not tell?”
Faith fell to her knees in front of Gemini, wings out and looking up at the boy. “I have no idea, Gem. It wasn’t anything I did, right?”
Gemini’s head shook with fervor. “No. It’s just me. I- I changed again.” His visitor put a paw on his thigh, but it was quickly stolen and moved to the newly flat chest. “I swapped.” His head fell, and he was on the verge of crying.
The girl moved her paw slowly to his shoulder, a serene smile on her face. “Are you still a boy, Gemini?”
His legs pulled tighter across one another, whimpering before beginning his explanation. “Yes. But I don’t- Uh- I- I’m sorry, I’ve never explained this to anyone before.”
Faith nodded, kneading the boy’s shoulder. “It’s okay. You can tell me. I won’t leave or judge you or be mad. I promise.”
Gemini let out a long breath and steadied himself. “I’m a boy, yes. But I don’t have boy parts anymore. I’m-” The words caught for a moment, but then he found a gradual flow. “I have a flat chest now, like a boy, but I’m a girl from the waist down.”
The fox was smiling, rubbing up to the boy’s cheek. “See? That wasn’t so hard. And I’m still here.”
A tear jumped out of the dog’s eye and ran down his nose. There was a wide smile below his snout. “I’m not really in the mood anymore. Can we just cuddle for tonight?”
Faith nodded slowly, endearingly placing both paws on her partner’s shoulders. “Absolutely. Come on, let’s get some sleep.” She slowly rose, crawling into the bed.
Gemini stood and turned off the lights. Nearly tripping over discarded clothes, he found his way back to the bed, pushing in against the girl who had joined his night. She immediately wrapped arms around him, pushing a wing over him. He was overwhelmed with calming sensation. It felt like the rest of the room was cold, but he was wonderfully warmed with the girl: the sensation of crawling under warm blankets on a cold winter’s night.
He squeaked out a soft whisper. “Hey, Faith?”
She was clearly tired, responding in monotone recognition. “Yes, Gem?”
Gemini chuckled, squeezing the girl a little tighter. “I’m really glad you came up to me today. I’m gonna make you breakfast tomorrow morning. Because I- I really appreciate it.”
The girl giggled back, nuzzling his forehead. “You’ll have to beat me too it! I make eggs florentine really well, and I want to show you!”
The boy shook his head, pushing firmly below Faith’s chin and softly kissing her neck. “Okay, deal.”
