Sooo yeah, while doing research for my last art, I stumbled onto the fact that for the first large chunk of episodes of Sonic Boom, apparently Amy and Sticks went commando. Eventually the higher ups must have gotten on their case about it since they started adding undies to their models but it doesn't change the first bunch of episodes. XD
Ironically enough I can't help but feel that it actually feels more perverted and dirty by adding undies as opposed to the original models. In the original model it gave the feeling that the females still followed the same rules as the guys where fur fully covers them and they simply choose to wear longer tops or extra accessories because they felt like it and not because they had to "cover their shame". By adding undies you start applying human logic to them, which makes every time they throw in an upskirt extra noticeable.
Of course on the other hand, I can't help but see the irony in the fact people care so much about Amy upskirts when literally every single male character is either nude or wears no pants. It's amazing how people can have such huge double standards without realizing it. I mean heck, there's even an episode where Sonic flat out refuses to wear pants period, even if he's willing to wear a fancy tuxedo top XP
It's almost as if they had simply made the female chars pantless to begin with, the concept of upskirts wouldn't have existed in the first place and people could have simply enjoyed the characters for who they are instead of what they're trying to cover under their clothes, while allowing them to any kind of action poses or scenes without worry of what's seen :P
Anywho, I don't personally watch the show so I don't know if I got the characters right or not, but here's a comic I felt like drawing after doing some research into the show.
