This is over a year old (I think its from last January) but I had lost it until now. It was part of my resolution last year to do a drawing every day (I didn't end up keeping that :\). This was a little doodle of a character I had been designing, a folklore-esque hero known as Black Jack. He's a jackalope, because they're my favorite cryptids and because the story takes place in America which as mostly ridiculous mythological creatures (excluding Native American mythologies).
He's about the size of the average jackalope...er, a little bigger than a jackrabbit, I guess. He's more or less a warrior, fighting with railroad spikes and an Arkansas toothpick (a knife, not an actual toothpick).

He travels the landscape fighting zombies...oh wait, did I forget to mention the story takes place during a zombie apocalypse?

I should redraw this fellow.
