A doodle from a composition I might flesh out more - Two characters from an old story I thought of back in college - about a young child who is the reincarnation of a death spirit who wanted to try living. Who, because of this, was born with terrible health. Their friend from a previous life, (the guardian spirit-lion-creature) knows that the child will die soon, and to some extent the child knows as well. So, he tries to bring comfort to the child and re-introduces them to all of their friends from their previous life in a huge party planned by the local forest spirit.
