A Taste of Kai 2
Kai took a sip from his cup of coffee and watched his screen intently. He had several set up on his desk, and each had a different thing happening on it, but he was focused on one in particular.
"Seriously, when are people going to learn not to open email attachments from people they don't know? Heh, lucky for me I guess."
Some overly salty wrestling blogger had just infected his own computer with a virus Kai had written. With the blogger’s username and password in hand, Kai set about making some choice alterations as requested by his outraged boss, Fergus Radcliffe. There was a reason why Kai was paid well, and it wasn't because he installed software updates around the federation.
Kai was startled as a friendly face poked around his door and greeted him. The dragon knocked his coffee over his keyboard as he scrambled to reply and wave, blushing a little bit.
Damn, that was the third keyboard ruined this week alone.

I considered calling for volunteers, but in the end, I asked some people who I knew had well-developed characters that they were passionate about. They pay for their game art, and in exchange, I write them into the game. That way, I can add more art assets than I would have afforded without the help.
