The air on the frozen peak had become thin and choking, as his attempts at starting a fire failed once more. He feared his journey may end here, so close to the top.
It was then the sky erupted in a pattern of brilliant colours, streaking across the night sky. As it glowed in the distance, the warmth of the lights began to heat his body.
But it wasn't the heat from the lights that warmed him, it was the subtle signs of the new pelt of fur that began to crawl up his legs and down his arms as he began to change...
