The following is a story involving an eating contest between everyone's favorite goofy animal themed shapeshifter, Beast Boy, and his robotic best friend, Cyborg, and how even Beast Boy can bite off more than he can chew in the heat of competition and the reward of bragging rights.
Like some others, this is a very tame, and fluffy, more comedic story, based on the Teen Titans comics. I even did away with profanity for this one. So it's a pretty safe ride, and one I had a lot of fun writing, along with some great suggestions, courtesy of

There is apparently an episode of that more kid oriented TT show where Beast Boy and Cyborg train the other Titans to literally stuff their faces to the point where Beast Boy and Cyborg's actually come to life and try to conquer the world by eating all the things.

This story did not disappoint. It's actually pretty impressive how close this was to the tone of the cartoon, with Cyborg and BB's childish rivalry, to Raven's deadpan remarks, to her friendship and subtle romance with Beast Boy. I can practicaly see the kid with a little anime-esque snot bubble when he succumbs to the food coma. XD

I had to work with a lot of what I remembered, and some reference clips to refresh but they were always really distinct personalities, so it was really fun and not too bad diving into their personalities. Mainly, I'm just glad all the elements stuck. I was worried by the end that it might get too sappy for what was ultimately more a comedy, so I figured who better to ruin the moment than Beast Boy by being TKO'd by the ultima food coma.
