aHHHHH sorry for the late reply. Please go ahead as you wish! You can I honestly love fanart of my characters. I am not the type that says no, people can even draw/ship their characters with mine (with the exception of taken ocs or my fursona). They are gift well welcomed. I appreciate fanart a lot because people take their free time to draw my trash ocs. Sometimes i take my time to reply to them because i want to thank them properly and even draw them back. (I am weird)
I really love the colors of this character's fur. But then again, blue and yellow are my favorite colors.
His background story did sound interesting, but it'd be nice to see where he ends up in the future as far as story goes.
I also like that his ears are small enough to fit inside his crown. :)

I am so sorry for the super late reply! I dropped into a hiatus but I am back now!!
Also thank you so much! I have been developing his story on the mean time and sketched another one of the main characters. https://sta.sh/093pqxj8z6m you can spot prince there, he is small lmao. I really like blue and yellow combinations when it comes to fur patterns, gives such a royal color scheme and perfect contrast.
Haha yes!! he is pretty annoying with that crown of his, it tends to fall a lot because all it got as support are his tiny ears, but to hell i he is going to let go of it, it is part of his charismatic personality. He panics if he looses it.

Ahh yes, it is one of my favorite things when it comes to designing. It can be hard too, because when it comes to designing the main one, one wants it to be the symbol of the fandom, and sometimes you get to have secondary characters more likable. I struggle a lot but I try to make every character (secondary or not) appealing and in some sorta way realistic so that there is always that one character a certain type of person will love and not just repetitive qualities.
That's a very good concept for designing, making all characters likeable in some way means that everyone has a possibility of liking one or more of the characters in the story, which will keep fans reading and enjoying the story as opposed to having a lot of really similar characters that seem too redundant. :)
That can be really good though. It can make for some very entertaining and unique stories. Its good to keep it realistic. Children's material often needs to be simplified so that it can be understood by a younger audience. Where as with a lot adult material it can be a lot more detailed. Thus having a much deeper, rich storyline. Both are good in their own ways and both can be likeable. I myself have always preferred stories with deep meaning that invoke different emotions in me. I remember watching the movie Wolf Children for the first time. I recall that film was both beautiful artistically, but it also had a meaning to it. I appreciate stories that can do that.
