So in continuing with tradition, I took fireworks photos again this year. This is the first year ever that I haven't set off any fireworks myself. I got together with  samaranerd and her friends and went to a local (for her, hour drive for me) fireworks display.

Of the 130 or so shots I took, this one turned out the coolest I think. I found afterwords that my focus had been a bit off but oh well. I also ended up missing taking shots of the finale because my second battery was dead and I hadn't bothered to charge my main because it looked like it had a full charge. I shot all the photos in RAW (which I have not been doing until recently) so afterwords I jacked up the color vibrancy, probably more than I should have, but I haven't worked with Camera Raw much (which caused the red lines along the left edge of the left-hand lower bright fireworks)
