This is a picture of Malger Sutt and the Goddess Nocturna, characters from the Metamor Keep story setting.
Malger is a man of long history and many strange, fey abilities.
He is a dream walker, a spirit healer, an archduke in hiding, a minstrel, and a hopeless sybarite. Through his ability to walk the realm of dreams he came upon a sorrowful soul named Mosha. With love, music, and his healing talent he lifted the weight of grief from her heart, and earned her love in return.
Here she has chosen to appear to him as a Lynx, enwrapped in the smoke of a campfire while Malger plies his flute.
Little did he know, but he would one day find out, that she was in fact Nocturna, goddess of the dream realm.
This very nice work of art was created for me by Tathi at Anthrocon 2009.
