I fucking LOVE SAI.
Let's see. Extremely intuitive, works amazing wonders with my tablet, doesn't use much RAM, excellent vector tools, I can blend colors like a blending machine, and it's more affordable than Photoshop ever will be (around $50; ). Look at what I did; I amazed myself at the coloring. It's a joytoy for cartoonists (And yes, for you manga artists as well). Compared to GIMP there is a huge natural feel (Damn, I can't wait to try this with an Intuos!).
Out of the programs I am trying out and getting used to, this one is definitely up on my favorites list. The coloring alone is all the evidence you will need. There are still features it lacks though and some that GIMP does have over this, but the ability to export to *.psd format really helps this one as well!

Yes, I love Sai! Everything just turns out so smooth with it, and its effortless to color and ink with. I still use Photoshop for some things, like text and layout and whatnot, but Sai beats it hands down with anything involving painting or anything like that. Its totally worth the $50!

can you do me a favour? ive wanted to get SAI myself. I tried the trial and it was awesome, now i wanna buy it, but I dont actually know where from.

Hmm. I actually considered trying SAI out, but wound up watching it collect dust when I found out I couldn't do much with the trial version. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime, and actually buy it.
I absolutely adore the shading in this. It looks so soft, and with a belly like that, it fits.
