Geeeez that's alot of stuff on at once... even when I am doing multiple things at the same time (playing a game, listening to music, chatting on IM's) I don't have that many things open! :s
But I see that a few of them are art progs so I guess that is fine. Also wall paper changer uses lots of memory in between wallpaper changes. Although its not always the case.

If I were you, i'd ditch firefox. The third update of the thing took a turn for a worse, viruses can get into your system.
I suggest using Opera for webbrowsing; http://www.opera.com/
And Avira for antivirus; http://avira2009.free-downioads.org/?tid=a
Delete anything you're not using, like IE and any toolbars you might have.
