A jedi & a sith - provocative

It's all about creating a discussion. We will find a solution

I imagined the scenario as: two jedi fell in love; while one managed to let go of their passion, while the other couldn't/wouldn't. The one who couldn't plunged into the darkside.

You're actually not too far off! In fact it's the reverse; one started out firmly rooted in the darkside, all anger and blind rage. The other was kind, but meek and mild, without any sense of power or strength. But together, by lending each other a little of their strength, they'd grow, both individually and together. The sith's rage would be calmed, controlled, and the jedi would find her feet and stand up strong and proud.
So that together, they're far stronger than either of them alone.
