Something I've been meaning to do for a while, but sort of hit a block on for design ideas.

Translating them from their cute original style, into my style, and coming up with evolutionary origins for them, was kind of fun and helped with the whole block issue. I've also decided that a tamed wild "lupovi" is what Aires' pet is; I'd wanted him to have a mutant goat-thing of some sort, just didn't have a design for what exactly it would look like.

The "long bear" is something I've had a vague idea of in my head for a while (dangerous mutant creature, large-mouthed, long and skinny, fast, mostly blind but with a strong sense of smell) , but never managed to come up with a design. Finally happy with this mutated bear thing.

The "taurog" isn't new. I've drawn Arkina's pet one a few times. I just finally decided on a species name for it. Yes... It took me two years or something to come up with "taurog" (Taurus+Dog or Hog). Fucking hell.

On a side note, this might be the last thing I post here for a little while. I'm working sort of a test-run of the first 8 pages of the comic. I'll of course be posting them here when I'm done, but in the mean time, I'm posting WIP stuff over on Patreon.
