Now THIS is where we started getting -really- good. *grins*
W.K. and I learned a LOT with this set. This is the first time we rounded all the edges and sealed the leather- and we were overjoyed with the results. We also 'edged' all the leather- you might notice a fine line just inside the borders of the straps. Just decorative, but it definitely adds something lovely.
I lined the brocade with high-quality fleece this time around, and the result was a tastily padded set of cuffs! W.K. made the paddle, and learned to hand-sew leather. I'm really pleased with the buckles we used- they cost a lot more, but they're GORGEOUS. The only thing we didn't do was dye or seal the underside of the leather, but it's only noticeable on the very ends.
