This was the original hiding yinglet pic I worked on at work before "Good hider". The feet and legs kept me from finishing it, but I worked them out... eventually (damn 1/8 inch long feet). I liked it so much that I added a simple background, too.
This was done on a sticky note. I had to clean of the little guy on the left because the camera made it too blurry to see so he might seem out of place a bit. This will be fixed when I upload a replacement from a scanned picture instead, if I get my scanner running...

valsalia Go check em out in his gallery!
By the way, I based this hiding yinglet off another funny hiding moment, so you might guess who hides like this.

A guess who challenge eh?
First off, surprised
sen-en's Frill didn't make the cut for good hiders. Perhaps Frill needs to work better on his hiding skills.
Back to point. Experts. I know that Dr. Sharon Roberts of the International Anthropomorphic Research Project is a Furry Expert, however we are discussing yinglets. Yinglet Experts would include Ran Ste-Su G'Mindel, and yinglets proper, like professor Dinny, Matriarch Vizlet, and perhaps our own matriarch,

Am I even in the right direction, or am I over thinking things again?

Yeah, you're overthinking it, it's only the one yinglet who I based this thought on... it's another hide-challeneged character from one of my favorite anime that always made me chuckle when he tried to hide and was doin' it wrong. His name is hinted in the file name (tony-tony-hidelet.jpg).
Ah, Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece!
"Another one of Chopper's habits is his reverse cartoon peek, where he stands behind a wall or a doorway and peeks at people, trying not to be seen by them. Unfortunately he is not hiding his body behind the wall, as a result his body is visible and only one half of his face is hidden."
