I might be sharing this a bit early... but I'm too intoxicated on the feeling of having actually gotten another song written and demoed, so I'll decide later if it's an actual contender for the project.
Here's the scorecard for this one, so no one gets lost...
1.) Right channel, a pig. First he sings in character as Snowball; then he sings as Napoleon; then he's just himself. My accents suck, but at least I'm a ham. Barrrump bump ching.
2.) Center, a sheep. This will eventually be a real female soprano; since this is just a demo, you lucky folks are treated instead to the best I can sing in that range, which sounds more like a hamster with adenoids. If you can't figure out whether she's in character or not, I've done my job.
3.) Left channel, a horse. He tries, unsuccessfully, to interrupt the scene with his objections.
So now everyone has ready blackmail material on me. Too bad I'm not rich.

Luckily for us all, no one ever got the idea to get murrypurry with anthropomorphic representations of Stalin or Trotsky! Ironically, I think this project will be a much bigger hit with English majors and history buffs (not to mention raging musical theater geeks) than furries; the anthro aspect has to be reduced to the thinnest veneer, so all the human foibles can shine through.
I do think, however, that FA is the perfect place to find an artist to do a poster graphic.

Actually, that's not quite what's going on here. Animal Farm itself has already been turned into a musical, so there's no reason at all to reinvent that particular wheel.
What my partner and I are doing is re-imagining the farm as it might exist today. Its current inhabitants try their best (with mixed success) to recreate their own famous history within the context of a stage production, while dealing with the animosities and prejudices held forth from their earliest days as a self-ruled entity.
5 actors, one piano, minimal sets and props, a single 55-minute act.

When I first downloaded this file, it got corrupted right after the "I'll shut up line", and I thought that was the end of it. Then I burned it to a CD, and it must have gotten un-corrupted, because then I heard the rest of the track. That actually made more confused about the song, now.
