Day 1 Final Part
“Is it time?” asked Giratina growing impatient. “Is it time for the Swalot?”
“The sun’s going down, so it must be,” replied Dialga.
“Well, why isn’t anything happening yet?” grumbled Giratina. “We’ve barely seen anyone get eaten all this time and I wanna see some of the good stuff.”
“I must agree with Giratina that for our day we got to see all the pieces moving around, but hardly more than that. We were promised a feeding frenzy after all.”
“I’m sure Jirachi knows what he’s doing,” stated Arceus. “He’s quite deep in thought over there.”
“About what?” wondered Giratina as they watched Jirachi sitting down with his eyes closed and barely moving. “He just looks asleep to me.”
“He is the one in charge of this whole game,” Arceus replied. “I can guarantee you that anything he does is to ensure this event goes by as smoothly as possible.”
“Zzzzzzz,” snored Jirachi.
“He is asleep!” they all cried out in a mix of surprise and irritation.
“You can’t be asleep!” snapped Dialga. “You’re the one running the game!”
“Huh, wha?” groaned Jirachi as he opened his eyes. “What’s going on? I was finally starting to doze off.”
“And why would we want you to do that?” complained Palkia. “How can the game proceed if you are not awake for it?”
“Doesn’t really matter if I’m awake or not for most of this and besides I’ve been busy at work with all this since before it even started. Now let me get some rest for the next day. You four should focus on the game. There will be quite a few eliminations before the night is done.”
“You think he is telling us the truth?” wondered Giratina going back to check on the game.
“He could be just making it up so he can get some more sleep,” suggested Palkia.
“Well, he’s already asleep again,” Dialga pointed at Jirachi who was asleep with a snot bubble on his nose.
“He does have a point that he’s worked tirelessly on the game,” commented Arceus. “So let him sleep for now.”
“Hey, guys,” called Giratina. “Looks like he was telling us the truth. Something seems to be happening.”
“You are quite lovely under the moonlight,” Smeargle told Kangaskhan as they cuddled. Luxray and Lycanrok were still smothered in the pouch of their fattened up mama and forced to endure all this.
“What do you think?” groaned Lycanrok as they overheard Smeargle uttering more flirtations to their living shelter in more attempts to woo her before he’d eat them.
“About what?” asked Luxray half his body numb from being unable to move for so long.
“Will we meet our end first by being vored or will all this lovey dovey talk kill us first?” he asked.
“Any more sweets for my sweetums,” cooed Smeargle giving her chubby cheeks a pinch.
“Oh, I couldn’t possibly,” she blushed. “I’ve eaten so many already and a girl has to watch her figure.”
“I think it only adds to how much I like you,” Smeargle told her wiping away some drool that was escaping his maw.
“Tough call,” answered Luxray. “I guess it depends when he decides to make a move.” They could hear the sound of some munching and could feel Kangaskhan’s belly fatten up a bit more and squish them more in her pouch. “We might get crushed to death first if she gets much fatter too.”
“Smeargle likes them big, huh,” wheezed Lycanrok.
“Mmm, you are a vision of beauty to me,” Smeargle said licking his chops from how eager he was to eat her. “I’m out of those choco berries now, but how about you try some of these blue berries? These are pretty tasty too.”
“Oh, I’m sure anything you give me will be just wonderful,” giggled Kangaskhan as she opened her maw a bit to try them unaware of his evil intent.
“Here you go,” he snickered under his breath. He took out some of his shrinking berries to help reduced his fattened prey to a more eatable size, but before he could slip them into her maw, they heard some beastly noises in the jungle.
“What was that?” cried Kangaskhan nervously as she hugged tightly to Smeargle for protection. Doing this pressed their bellies against one another and actually managed to push Lycanrok and Luxray partway out of her pouch, enough so that they could actually climb out now.
“We’re free,” Lycanrok wheezed silently. “We can use this chance to escape these two nuts.”
They heard another of the monstrous roars and shivered in fear. “Uh, maybe we can stick around a little longer with these two,” suggested Luxray.
“Agreed,” nodded Lycanrok.
“Don’t worry,” Smeargle told Kangaskhan as she squeezed his blubber tightly out of fear. “I’ll keep you safe.” As she embraced him lovingly, he couldn’t help feeling agitated to be denied his meal, if for even a little longer.
“There’s a bunch of scary sounds coming from all over,” whimpered Watchog as he tried to peer into the dark night. “Feels like the predators are out, but I don’t recall seeing any kinds of animals anywhere the whole time we’ve been wandering around.”
“Oh, I’m sure they were around,” Floatzel said tapping her claws against his soft body with enough pressure for him to feel, but not enough to hurt as she hugged him against her body.
“You’re making me uncomfortable,” he shivered. “Even more than usual.”
“Oh, well, how about I make you comfortable?” she told him taking a paw and placing it on the side of his face and using her thumb to rub his cheek gently. It felt nice, but at the same time he didn’t like her invading his personal space like this.
“C-can you please let me,” he started to say when he felt something dripping down onto his head. Looking up, he saw she was drooling quite heavily and looked down at him with an almost demonic gaze in her eyes. “G-g-go…”
“But I want to make you more comfortable,” she told him. “And I can think of no better place than in my belly.”
“B-b-belly?!?” he freaked and quickly bolted away from her as fast as he could.
“Come back my scrumptious little snacky,” she hissed. “I can’t have you run away and get eaten by someone else now, can I?”
“Leave me alone!” he begged as he ran haphazardly through the night. Fortunately for him, he had great night vision and was able to avoid running into anything. Taking an occasional look behind him, he was relieved to not see Floatzel on his tail. Even so, he didn’t stop running till exhaustion forced him to sit down and catch his breath.
“I must have lost her,” he wheezed and gasped for air. He rubbed the sweat from his forehead and kept scanning the area all around him for any signs of anything that might try to eat him. “No way she could have followed me. I knew the second it got this dark out I could escape her and now I’m safe.”
“Safe?” scoffed Floatzel. “Don’t make me laugh. “All you managed to do was help me work up my appetite to eat you even more.”
“But- But how were you able to follow me?” he cried. “No way you can see your way through the jungle as well as I can in the night!”
“I don’t need to see the jungle when I just need to see you,” she chuckled, her voice sounding like she was circling around him and waiting for the right moment to strike. The fearful Pokemon searched for her, but she was cautious to keep out of sight while she taunted him. “Did you forget you glow when frightened? It’s supposed to scare predators away, but in the dark is makes you so very easy to find.”
“I- I forgot about that,” he worried wishing he could turn it off. “B-but why do you have to eat me? You didn’t all day and I know you enjoyed teasing me that you were, but I was honestly starting to believe you just like messing with me.”
“It is strange,” she admitted. “I was considering letting you go or promising to not eat you if you chose to stay with me, but…”
“But what?” he cried running forward and shouting into the jungle despite how bad an idea that was with all the beastly growls coming at random like thunder in a storm. “What changed?”
“I just got very hungry,” she told him, her voice now coming from behind him. As he turned around to look there she was and before he could react, she grabbed him and lifted him up into the air. “And all I could think about was eating you!”
“No!” he cried fearfully as he watched her open her maw with his big red and yellow eyes. “Don’t eat me!”
“Hush now,” she shushed him and gave his face a lick. “I don’t like noisy meals. Now be a good and let me gobble you up.”
“Do you think I’m just going to be quiet and let you,” Watchog began to say before he was shoved headfirst into her maw. Out of desperation he tried to kick and struggle his way out, but all his best efforts didn’t discourage Floatzel. She just held him as steady as she could and began to try swallowing him and managed to pull in inch by inch. The further down he went, the more he fought back, but his efforts had the same effect as before, none. All he managed to do was burn out all the strength he had to fight back faster leaving his body limp and him gasping for breath and barely able to get any while his head was halfway down her throat.
“All tuckered out,” thought Floatzel unable to taunt with her mouth full so she just thought them in her head. “Now just relax and be a good boy while I gobble you up.”
Watchog didn’t attempt to fight back anymore as half his body was soon pushed past her lips and down her throat. This made things easier for Floatzel too as she managed to quickly gobble up the slender Pokemon with just a few more minutes of pushing and swallowing and ended by slurping up his tail still hanging out her maw.
With him fitted comfortably inside her gut, she gave her belly a pat as she sat to rest on a rock and let her much anticipated meal digest. “Mmm,” she said quite satisfied. “He was worth the wait to eat, but now I’m all alone. Once the sun comes back up I’ll have to hope that I can find someone else.” She slid her tongue across her lips quite eagerly. “I hope they’ll be just as tasty.” The sounds of monstrous roars were still raging in the distance and were showing no sign of dying down. Floatzel smiled as she listened to that noise and then her belly growled quite loudly making a similar sound. “Quite a lovely symphony of the night. Guess a lot of other Pokemon are feeling this same powerful hunger I am right now. I wonder how they are doing in their hunting for prey.”
“This was a very bad idea,” cried Raticate as he, Dragonite, and Zangoose found themselves surrounded by Arcanine, Incineroar, and Feraligator. “Why do more big, scary Pokemon keep showing up?”
“Stay calm,” ordered Zangoose trying to remain calm himself. “We’ll get out of this… somehow.”
“Looks like we’ve hit the jackpot,” grinned Feraligator. “Three tasty Pokemon just wandered right over to us. Can’t ask for better than that.”
“We do not wish to fight,” pleaded Dragonite. “We refuse to participate in this barbaric game of eat or be eaten. Instead of fighting, we should work together to put a stop to this.”
“You make a good point,” Incineroar agreed. “But the fact that we’re starving and haven’t eaten anything all day is an even better point. So, just be all nonviolent and let me eat you.”
“Hold on,” protested Feraligator. “Why do you get to eat the big one? I want the big one.”
“I called the Dragonite the second I saw her,” he answered only the anger Feraligator.
“You did not,” he snapped. “If anyone should eat her, it should be me! I am the biggest after all.”
“You’re the biggest pain is what you are!” he taunted. “You can eat the Raticate.”
“I don’t wanna eat the Raticate,” Feraligator complained. “You eat the Raticate.”
“Can I eat him?” asked Arcanine.
“You keep outta this!” the two of them shouted in unison.
“No one is eating anyone till we come to an agreement,” Incineroar stated. “Now, rock, paper, scissors to see who gets Dragonite.”
“You’re on!” agreed Feraligator as the two faced one another.
“Rock… paper… scissor… shoot!” they both said together and played rock.
“Rock… paper… scissor… shoot!” they both said together and played scissor.
“Rock… paper… scissor… shoot!” they both said together and played rock again.
“Well, they’re distracted,” said Zangoose quietly. “Let’s get out of here before one of them wins.
“But what about him?” asked Raticate nervously looking at Arcanine who was sniffing at him.
“You do smell yummy, but they told me I can’t eat you,” he said sadly.
“Well, will you let us leave?” asked Dragonite. “You can even come with us if you’d like.”
“You want the one who actually wants to eat me join us?” complained Raticate.
“That’d be nice,” he said happily. “All those two do is argue. But now might not be a good time to leave.”
“Why not?” asked Dragonite.
“Cause there’s a lot of scary sounds coming from outside,” he explained. “Don’t you hear them?” The three Pokemon listened and though it was faint from the cave, they could hear the sounds of monstrous roaring coming from outside. “See, scary. It is too dangerous to be outside at night like this.”
“But what about them?” asked Raticate turning everyone’s attention back to Incineroar and Feraligator.
“Rock… paper… scissor… shoot!” they said once again in unison and both played paper. “Again!”
“They’ll be at it for a while,” Arcanine said. “Might as well get comfy and watch.”
“Where did you go!” shouted Emboar searching through the dark for Diggersby and Salazzle. “I’ve gotta eat you! Now come on out and show yourselves!”
Despite calling out for them, he didn’t get an answer and kept looking. Nearby, Salazzle peeked out from behind a bush and watched the fiery pig leave the area and allow him to take a sigh of relief. When he was certain he wasn’t coming back, he got out of his hiding place very happily.
“Hahahah,” he laughed. “I’m not going to be eaten today… I think. Now I just have to find my bunny meal and gobble him up.” Without the threat of being eaten himself, Salazzle went in search of his prey. “Come out, come out, wherever you are… please.” His search didn’t take very long before he found Diggersby wandering around in the dark too. “There you are and just in time. I’m so hungry now I can’t stand it!”
Salazzle charged at Diggersby and leapt at him, determined not to miss out on his meal again. But just as he got close, the bunny’s huge, armlike ears grabbed the lizard and held him tightly. “Funny coincidence,” replied Diggersby drooling with hunger as he looked upon his captured prey. “So am I.”
“This is not how it’s supposed to happen?” cried Salazzle trying to break free. “The food chain doesn’t work both ways… does it?”
“Survival of the fittest,” Diggersby answered and started to shove the lizard past his buck teeth and into his maw. Even more frantically, Salazzle tried to get free, but those ears were far too strong. Diggersby kept pushing him further into his maw and started to swallow him down only pausing to ensure his prey couldn’t struggle free. Inch by inch the poison and fire type slid down his throat. His struggles became more difficult the more he was vored. Finally, his stamina was all but gone as his tail was the only thing still not eaten.
“I-is this the end,” he wondered as he felt his whole body drop down into the big bunny’s gut. “Yes it is.”
“Wh-what happened?” Diggersby asked himself as he looked around confused. “I was being chased and then… what? I’m still alive and that’s good and I don’t feel hungry either and that’s better than good. Wonder what I ate?” He rubbed his gut with an expression that was a mix of happy and confused. In the end, he merely shrugged his shoulders in indifference. “I better find some place safe to go before that Salazzle or that Emboar find me.”
“There’s a lot of tension in the air,” noted Machamp as he wandered through the jungle. “Feels like a powerful vorelust is emanating from everywhere just as soon as night fell and that I could be attacked at any moment. That’s just fine with me.” Flexing his arms, he let his muscles bulge to show his incredible strength. “Come and try and get a piece of me! It’ll just make things easier for me.”
“Only a piece?” asked Kimmo-o sounding disappointed. “I’d much prefer all of you to one measly piece.”
“Sneaking up from behind,” sounded Machamp attempting to turn around quickly only to be whipped by the dragon’s tail and sent tumbling to the ground.
“You look a bit tough with all that muscle,” salivated Kimmo-o. “But I doubt it’d give me any trouble. I ate another big guy earlier who had some armor on, but it didn’t do anything to ruin my appetite.”
“You’ve already eaten someone?” asked Machamp getting to his feet and staring down his opponent.
“I have and I’ve discovered quite a bit as a result,” he chuckled. “Seems it didn’t just sate my hunger, but I feel much more powerful too and I must say I like this feeling. I admit I was a little surprised to discover this, but then again it only makes sense to benefit those who play the game the right way. After all, the one who eats the most should be the winner in the end. That’s the only thing that makes sense and I intend that to be me, of course, so I need all the meals I can stomach. Are you ready to be my second?”
“Are you ready to be my first?” asked Machamp right back to him as he charged at him determined to defeat him in a power struggle. “I don’t care how strong you are! There’s no way you are stronger than me!”
“Are you sure about that?” questioned Kimmo-o as they locked hands attempting to overpower one another. “Ever since it got dark out my hunger has only increased tenfold. Can you say the same for yourself?”
“O-of course!” countered Machamp. “If anything it’s increased a hundredfold!”
“Why don’t I believe you?” grinned Kimmo-o as he started to win the struggle despite it being four arms against two. Machamp’s knees trembled and shook as he continued to resist, but little by little he was being forced to kneel in submission.
“But I was supposed to bring a whole bunch of Pokemon back to Primarina and Froslass so they’d love me. This is even worse than returning empty handed!”
“Well, if I find them, I’ll let them know you brought me to them in my belly,” teased Kimmo-o as he opened his maw wide and started to shove Machamp into it. Machamp proved an easier meal to consume than the bulky-armored Chesnaught. The musclebound Pokemon attempted to struggle in defiance, by it was just as futile as before. Kimmo-o merely lifted him up as he craned his neck back and allowed gravity to assist him in sliding his meal down his throat. Machamp was a bulge in the mighty dragon’s throat for a few seconds and then landed with a plop in his gut. Kimmo-o rubbed his stomach with bliss and waddled off. “Another meal and even more power for me. I do not know how many the other contestants have eaten, but I must make sure that nobody eats more than me. I regret not having the room to eat those other two earlier, but I’m sure I’ll come across them again eventually.”
“Wh-what’s going on?” cried Primarina nervously as Lucario, Pangoro, and even Froslass were eying her quite hungrily.
“N-no idea,” whimpered Rhyhorn who was also getting the same looks. “Are they seriously thinking about eating us?”
“I don’t know why,” drooled Froslass. “But all of a sudden you’re starting to look very tasty.”
“Lucario, Pangoro,” begged Rhyhorn. “Please tell me this is all just a joke.”
“Mmm,” drooled Pangoro licking Rhyhorn’s horn. “For a rock, you certainly are tasty.”
“Hey, back off,” snapped Lucario. “I’m the one who’s going to eat him.”
“I don’t wanna get eaten!” wailed Rhyhorn running in a panic to escape with Primarina and Froslass still on his back.
“Please tell me you’re joking,” Primarina asked her. “We weren’t really going to betray one another, right? At least not this early on.”
“Don’t think of this as a betrayal,” breathed Froslass, a chilly frost seeping from her maw and giving Primarina a chill that went all the way to the bone. “Think of it as me having a late night snack.”
“No way!” snapped Primarina pushing Froslass back. “I’m not going to let you eat me!”
“But I’m hungry,” smirked Froslass pushing back on Primarina and causing the both of them to tumble off Rhyhorn. The large Pokemon saw them fall off, but he didn’t have a chance to turn around as Lucario was still pursuing him and Pangoro was not far behind.
“Please don’t do this,” Primarina pleaded once more. She was shivering as Froslass was using her power to freeze her body from her feet up. It happened so quickly that there was no time for her to react, no time for her to escape. All Primarina was able to do was beg until the bitter, cold end. “Please,” whimpered Primarina one more time before her head was frozen and the Ice Type opened her maw. At first glance, her slender body and small mouth didn’t appear capable of being able to eat Primarina whole, but she was also a Ghost Type. When she opened her maw, she managed to open it impossibly wide enough to fit the frozen seal in it. Grabbing her former partner, she stuffed her in and swallowed her whole with ease causing her slim body to bulge to fit the huge chunk of ice.
“What a nice iced treat,” she murred cooly as she patted her belly. “And this way, we can be the best of friends forever.”
Meanwhile, at the same time, Rhyhorn was flailing about wildly as Pangoro was grabbing at his hind legs while Lucario had his arms around his head. “Let go of me!” he roared and struggled. “Don’t eat me! I’m too big for you guys to eat anyway so just let me go!”
“Don’t worry,” Lucario told him. “I got a quick fix to that.” Opening up the container of pills, he plucked one out and started to try and open Rhyhorn’s maw. “Now be a good boy and take your medicine!”
“Medicine?” wondered Pangoro curiously as he watched what Lucario was doing.
Managing to create a gap in Rhyhorn’s gritting teeth, he quickly tossed the little pill in and then held cranes his neck back to rub his throat. Unable to stop himself, Rhyhorn swallowed. Lucario then let him go, allowing Rhyhorn to shake free from Pangoro as well.
“Why did you let him go?” asked Pangoro rubbing his hungry belly. “I wanna eat him.”
“He won’t get far,” assured Lucario as he casually followed the fleeing Rhyhorn.
“I have to get away!” cried Rhyhorn. “Find some place safe to hide.” But as the rock Pokemon ran, he suddenly realized something strange was going on. Everything around him was getting bigger and bigger. He was too stressed out to wonder why, but when he turned to see Lucario still after him and he only came up to his waist the truth became evident. “I’m shrinking!”
Running even faster, the Rhyhorn tried desperately to escape, but as his size kept diminishing, it was evident that it was impossible. When he finally slowed down gasping for breath, he froze in fright when Lucario’s feet came down and he was barely larger than them. Looking up, he watched helplessly as Lucario reached down and picked him off the ground. He tried to run again, but that was useless while he was held in the air.
“N-no, don’t, please!” cried Rhyhorn as he became level with Lucario’s maw and saw all his teeth as he opened his mouth wide as possible. His tongue slid out like a red carpet inviting him to walk down it. Rhyhorn kept crying and shrieking, but it was all ignored as he was pushed into Lucario’s maw to the back. Then as Lucario tilted his head back, he started to swallow forcing Rhyhorn down his throat. With each swallow he was dragged down further and further. Rhyhorn did attempt to force his way back up, but this proved just as futile as running away. One more big swallow and reached the bottom of Lucario’s throat and then vanished into his body. Smiling big, Lucario reveled in the pleasure of finally putting something into his stomach.
Pangoro, not too far away, eyed Lucario’s container of pills. “I’ll let him have that one,” decided Pangoro. “It was more than worth it to finally find out what was in that container.”
Not much longer after that, fatigue claimed those uneaten and they drifted off to sleep all at once. Soon, morning would arrive for the remaining 29 contestants.
And with that, the first day of the Gulpin Games comes to a close. Even more surprises will be coming on Day 2 and many more will be eaten.
For the vote this time, there are two parts this time.
The first vote is simply for who you to be eliminated. You have 3 votes for this of the remaining participants.
The second vote is for choosing a Pokemon Type to give a benefit to. Any Pokemon that has that Type will benefit from it as a result. If the type selected matches one of the two types of a Pokemon it will count towards them.
