Derek wasn't sure why his brother had called him over with such a brief text, merely sending a message that said "Come over to house, need to talk now", the message was rather curt and just a little off in the skunk's opinion, but he went over nonetheless.
Arriving at his sibling's house the skunk found the front door slightly ajar and so he slipped inside, once inside Derek called out to his brother, noting an odd scent on the air. There was the familiar skunk aroma he himself was quite used to by this point, but there was something else... heavy... potent... rubber?
There was no response to his calls and so Derek wandered further inside... until the trap was sprung, from the shadows a form resembling his brother pounced upon him, and yet... it wasn't his brother. It was a skunk, that much was obvious, but his body was covered completely in some shining substance, and his face was covered with a gas mask with a shimmering visor.
Derek hardly had any time to react before the skunk shoved a mask at him, thankfully Derek was able to whip out his hands and grab the mask before it hit his face, but the moment his hands touched the rubber material the deed was done. Rubber immediately sprung out from the mask, rushing down his arms, flowing over his fur and covering it with the same shiny material that his brother was covered in.
"TASK COMPLETED, NEW DRONE PROCESSING, DRONE SHALL AWAIT FURTHER COMMANDS. SKUNKS ARE GOOD DRONES, RUBBER DRONES, SMELLY DRONES." The voice that spoke was a heavily synthesized version of his brother's voice, and apparently he was in some sort of trance now as he continued to spew off the sentence, talking about how skunks were drones.
"Henson, snap out of it!" Derek pleaded, but his voice fell on deaf ears. He felt the rubber traveling over his body, changing it underneath, becoming more and more synthetic, his struggle already starting to weaken as the mask was taking control of his body, his commands seeming to weaken with every moment that passed.
He peered at the mask in his paws and saw that the visor was now shimmering with a rainbow pattern, within a glistening rubber prison that promised him to become just like his brother... and he couldn't fight it forever. He could hear his future as his brother continued to spew the mantra, every moment the mask growing ever closer... the rubber spreading ever further...
"SKUNKS ARE GOOD DRONES, RUBBER DRONES, SMELLY DRONES."
A fantastic picture I was able to commission from my amazing friend

I'm glad I finally uploaded this just before skunktember ended, I intended to do more but due to work overwhelming me I haven't gotten much of any writing done, but I hope you like the little blurb above. :)
