I've never heard bad about the part of the company I'll be with. Of course they'll pay bad tho, but even the bad pay they give is more than my gas station. The reason you'll never see home, is because they want to get their moneys worth out of you as fast as they can, before you ditch them. They also want to test your loyalty. :P
I have my parents, but my life is online. Trucking is kinda perfect for me at the moment. I'll be making more than I was at the gas station, I'd get to travel and possibly stop here and there to meet online friends in between hauls, and I get to be basically a high class hobo. xD Livin' on the streets, but somewhat luxuriously.
