That's a daddy long-legs! :3 they're not harmful at all, in fact they're really awesome. They eat all the yucky bugs like misquotes and flies! They dun make webs and they can't bite us either, their fangs aren't large enough to pierce the skin. It's said they have some of the most potent poison around though!

They're certainly odd-looking. Most daddy-long-legs that I've seen have long stilt-like legs and a very very small body that's up in the air.

We have tons of those things around here. Daddy Longl egs are cool. I'd literally stick my hand out and let it walk on to it. My other faves are the little tiny jumping spiders around here that are about the size of a pea or smaller. They're cute when they bop and sprong all over. :3

To Furlock: We also have the type you speak of. Their legs look like eight pieces of hair with a party pea nut floating in the middle.

Oh gods those little jumping spiders are so cute! They've got these giant eyes all close together! They're adorable!

Also, yeah, those are exactly the ones I'm talking about!

Funny how different states can have the same species of spiders in it. I believe I've also seen a type of daddy long-legs here in the house that have a long "mosquito" body to them. Odd looking but neat spiders.
