I did some pose studies of my D&D group the other day but gave Nadaar (the dragonborn) and Boss (warforged) guns for some reason and it spawned a Curse of Strahd noir/buddy cop AU so I drew a sort of movie poster of our party + Stahd. Stahl's nose (the tiefling) turned out really good (they're tricky to draw from the side!!) but I feel like the rust from not drawing for a whole week is noticeable haha This was a fun little quick project though.

The AU would follow mostly Nadaar, a dragonborn struggling with addiction (to pastries); and Boss, a mysterious machine built for some unknown war as they patrol the city and try to bring crime lord Strahd to justice with help from morally precarious Cobalt, the ex(?)-mafia tabaxi. Izumi the ratfolk (who is always "just two days from retirement") often lends her wizened advice, occasionally helping when she isn't busy with her own work, while Stahl the tiefling is the station's stoic cigar chain-smoking police chief with a dark and secretive past that eventually causes others to question whose side he is really on.
