Fun With a Size Ray
A booming cackle blasted through the air as the feathered beast grew higher and higher into the sky, drawing gasps and screams throughout the bewildered hive of concrete and glass. His entire frame dominated the skyline, dwarfing even the tallest of structures growing out of the ground. The devious duck wore a green jacket, yellow shirt and glasses; a wardrobe easy on the eyes, yet one that would forever be burned into the fragile psyche of all who craned their necks towards the expanding being.
What could have been described as nothing more than CGI run amok, was actually playing out right before their very eyes. A massive, grinning duck was preparing to eliminate the accursed city with utter damnation, wiping out the lives of over 200,000 in the process for his own revenge. Standing a proud 1.3 miles in height, Tony could only smirk as he prepared to level densely packed metropolitan area that’d become the bane of his existence ever since moving there. The furs were rude, violent and otherwise unpleasant to live and interact with, making his life a living hell and giving him a perfect reason to strike them down with a force surpassed only by atomic weapon.
This unmitigated anger manifested itself in the duck getting his revenge against them using the best way he knew how, growth. Size rays were nothing new to the fowl, he’d toyed around with them before, often shrinking others for fun and toying with them for a bit. However, this sudden ascension to over a mile tall was giving him a rush of power that he’d long craved. Here he stood, a massive, unstoppable dork with murderous intent burning in his eyes and he planned to enjoy himself at the expense of a diminutive patch of gray in a sea of browns and greens.
With a chuckle, Tony wiggled his webbed toes as his sole slowly began its trek towards the bustling cityscape. A packed 737 flew precariously toward the lowering appendage, getting an up close and personal view of what awaited the nervous citizens below. They could see the smooth, voracious sole of the god-like duck, eager to swallow up anything in its path. Not taking any chances, the pilots throttled up the airplane, sending it screaming along at some 500 MPH.
Everyone on board braced for impact, knowing full well they may end up as the first snack for the famished foot dropping towards them. In the end, evasive maneuvers saved them from a horrible end, however, the wind from the descending sole, was enough to send jarring turbulence to the escaping jetliner.
The descent seemed to take minutes, yet it only amounted to about 45 seconds before the lethal foot made contact with the ground in a powerful, earthshaking *thoom* that could be heard throughout the region. As the plane turned to make its pass, passengers on the plane were able to witness the destructive act firsthand as the foot dug into the ground, driving up the soil and dirt into the atmosphere and creating a trench in the ground.
Tony looked down at this foot, wiggling it a bit, enjoying the feeling of all the glass, concrete, steel, and other materials smeared underneath him. He lifted his heel, showing off to the furs on the plane the immense footprint he created, a statement on the amount of power he held over everyone. He snickered, becoming even more drunk on the power that growth had given him. His mind was awash in the possibilities of endless destruction confirming that the duck wasn’t done with his fun by a long shot.
It was certainly no secret that Tony had long desired to see all the cities in the region buried in his massive footprints. Such a thought was very pleasurable to the duck, to say the least. In the end, all that could be heard was the menacing chortle of Tony as his other foot began to ascend into the air, beginning a massive onslaught of stomping which would undoubtedly prove disastrous for the region, and eventually, the entire country itself.
THE END
Another one done and trust me you'll love the artwork it's based on. Me and
nanogotchi talked about what he wanted from this and we settled on him actually growing in size and then stomping the city into dust, which I must say, turned out pretty dang good, if I say so myself!
