My own example badge for Anthrocon 2008. Done in marker. This picture was just taken however, so the badge is a bit worn, and yellow pigment from one of the orange markers started to bleed over time. I was told this is likely due to the cold adhesive laminate that was used on it. Now all my badges are heat laminated.

Actually what kind of markers do you use? All of my badges have been heat laminated, and we've found the problem is actually with the Prismacolor Orange specifically. No matter what method, they bleed once laminated. The yellows, and the yellow-greens do this as well, specifically with Prismacolor. We have not had this issue with Copics or Trias.
