Happy 'everybody lives' AU for two minor historical figures in one of my stories. In the actual story Robin (in red) doesn't survive past about age ten, dying in the process of helping Rei (in black) escape, but I would have loved to see him grow up with the sort of adoptive father-son dynamic they had going.
