This young raccoon gunslinger has a story. That vest is his father's, and that badge is the Sheriff's Badge of Shelbytown, in the frontier. His father was ambushed by The Outlaw and his gang, while trying to get Akai back from a kidnapping. He thought that The Renegade was responsible, but The Renegade knew the truth and lead The Sherrif to The Outlaw's hiding spot... Akai got free, but The Sherriff died, leaving The Renegade to raise Akai.

Several years later, The Outlaw has become Acting Sherriff of Shelbytown (but the badge is needed to become the permanent Sherriff). His gang controls the town, and it's in this setting that Akai returns.

"I am Akai Natesencid. You have killed my father. Prepare to die."
