A small peek at what I'm working on next. Really happy with how it's turning out so far. Being painted with Liquitex acrylics - really good stuff, even if some hues are more transparent than others.

The biggest challenge though is the next stage after he's painted and sealed... Fingers crossed!

The eyes are Tohikon glass bird flats (about 4mm in diameter for a good size scale) that I painted golden. They are really neat in how the backs are actually concave to produce a magnification effect, and keeps the paint tidy. May invest in a order of true blanks for further customization.
