The following is one of the upcoming trade stories for 
eskaria145 (whose page you seriously need to check out for great art and great bellies ) which, in this case, involves two of his OC's; the shy and smol monster knight named Leonard, and one viewers might be more familiar with, his hungry gluttonous big boi monster knight, Galien.
This story is early in Leonard and Galien's partnership. Galien had been transferred relatively recently to guard the dungeons with Leonard, and the two hit it off pretty well from there. But after an especially long day on the job, Galien invites Leonard to hit up the Tavern for food and drinks, and Leonard finds that some of his particular interests might get a little harder to conceal the more Galien messily stuffs his face.
As with all my Trade Stories, I really loved working on this. Galien is a really fun character who, just personally, hits all the rights notes and then some, but more than that, is a surprisingly friendly character to Leonard. But don't let that fool you. This big boi has a bad side, and if you cross him, he'll treat himself to a nice serving of you.

An art trade between one of my favorite artists and one of my favorite writers? I must be in heaven...
I love this soooooo much! I love the look of Galien to begin with, but the character development he gets in this is just icing on the cake. His friendship with Leonard is really cute, and I really sympathize with the poor lil' fella once Galien puts on a "show" for him. XD Also, intoxicated hiccups are my weakness.
I just wish that there was an existing drawing of Leonard so his description can completely come together. The closest thing I could find in eskaria's gallery is this: http://d.facdn.net/art/eskaria145/1.....a145_nin22.png

I've always loved Galien in his work, so getting to write with him was a lot of fun, especially learning he wasn't just a big gruff eating machine...but a big gruff eating machine with a heart of gold.
We can all probably sympathize with little Leonard, because, how do you resist a show like that?
I love the intoxicated hiccups too. Realizing Galien was gonna get good and drunk, it was too good not to pass up, especially considering how it led to my weakness immediately after.
