Nobody, not even his Advisors-turned-Business partners understand why Malik left the Kings Army, and pursued a.....very successful but sleazy Career Path in the slums. But with the amount of revenue he pulls in, anybody would give up the honor of fighting for their nation to be rich like him.
But, even with the reasons; only known to himself, Mallik does sometimes really miss being out in the Field. Not so much for fighting for Diviniia, or the King or Queens Throne, but, just the fun he had Slaying the curs at the other end of his blade.
He commanded his own small army almost as much as he fought with it. Surely a very smart tactician, but also a Savage slayer.

He can still see their blood, lightly stained on the metal. Ah what good times. What great Memories~

He almost wishes another war would break, just to give him excuse to use it again. The trouble makers in the slums are to docile to waste the energy on.
