awww, been thinking of gettin tweety a friend, I rescued him when i found him by a mcdonalds covered with Chlamydia. Paid for some doctor bills awhile back, he's more than 100% healthy. I have a Cockatiel named Teddy, they talk to each other alot, but i think tweety might like one of his own kind :3

Aw man. That was a horrible situation to find your birdy in, but I'm glad you're the one who took him in. And yeah, they like talking to other birds, but having someone of the same species is always nice.

So much to like about them.. How they could be calm and then right out of the blue for no particular reason they freak out with a big budgie spaz out attack, and then jsut as quickly calm down again :)..
They look funny flying because they seem to be really poorly designed for flight.. like God was tired and just stopped caring.
They make funny sounds... They bite a lot but can be friendly too, when they dont feel like biting :)

Mmhm! And yes, they do look very silly when they fly. But they do enjoy it! Speaking of spaz attacks, they just had one after another round of beak wars. (the beak bumping fights) They just stopped because they were hungry.
Gem is my biter and rules the cage. I can't even preen him when he's moulting. Tango is my sweetheart and loves to play on my hands. I can give him scratches any time of the day and he'll be happy.

Oh god you're right I looked through the rest and nearly died when I saw the cockatiel picture. My family had a couple as pets when I was little and I looooved them ugh want one so bad
