We're now on the last day of this year's September, second-to-last day of my own little Cheru-Thon. 'Thought this ambiguous note would be a good one to end the little mini story line with Shishta and this incarnation of Pippy.

The original title escapes me, but it was from a batch of three commissions in early-to-mid 2013, which was part of a rather rough patch of time for me. Anyway, you can see the batch presented as kind of a strip/progression here:

At the time this pic was first posted, one of the Las Lindas writers chimed in "This is not a healthy rebound, Pippy!" and Cheru agreed heartily. That all stemmed from a misunderstanding, I think; the way I see it, Pippy would've considered this course of action already before. Rightly or wrongly -- and that is something I'm content to let remain up-in-the-air for us -- it's something she personally (murinely?) perceived "signs" pointing to, one way or another.

As for the title, I've made that reference before, and even linked to that picture last time. It was one of my grandfather's favorite songs, though, so *shrugs* not just about Hal 9000 for me.
