What are Puppy Bunnies?
Puppy Bunnies are a closed species that blend the cuteness of Puppies and Bunnies! Expensive humanoid pets for the wealthy only the best of the best make it into the pet shops. Though some do manage to escape and try to live along side humans in disguise or flee to the wild.
This species is split into two types; Cotton Tails and Bowwows.
Cotton Tails have features that lean more towards their rabbits genes. While Bowwows have features that lean towards their Dog genes.
Cotton Tails are commonly short and domesticated. Making them expensive pets. The smaller, fluffier ones in higher demand. It is uncommon for a Cottontail to be Feral, their sweet, timid nature coming from years of domestication. It is unheard of for them to adapt into fierce hunters. It is Uncommon for a Cottontail to be taller than 5", because their petite size is their strongest selling point. Tall Cottontails often have trouble finding a home and end up staying in shelters for a very long time.

Bowows are usually larger in size with more dominant personalities. It is uncommon for Bows to be small as the bigger stronger ones are of higher value. Smaller Bowwows are considered runts and undesirable. Their sharper Feral nature makes them harder to control and train but it doesn't stop people from trying. A domesticated Bowwow is Rare and most people find the lack of challenge boring.

Puppy Bunnies appear to be sexless though they are actually protogynous hermaphrodites. This means they have the ability to impregnate or be impregnated. Because of this it is easier for breeders to get the desired features out of litters. While they can switch their roles fluidly most are assigned a role from birth and stick to the one they are given. This is a way to keep some sort of balance in the process.
