There's still plenty of great modern games, these days; don't get me wrong! Plenty of them DO believe in being challenging and fun!
This also includes "Zero WIng", (a game with an intro, that wasn't PROPERLY translated into English, and currently, is abandonware, (you can LITERALLY, download it online, legally for free) which happens to be a traditional 2-D horizontal space shooter game. It's not only challenging, but it's also got some of the best video game soundtrack, ever made; even for today!
This also includes "Zero WIng", (a game with an intro, that wasn't PROPERLY translated into English, and currently, is abandonware, (you can LITERALLY, download it online, legally for free) which happens to be a traditional 2-D horizontal space shooter game. It's not only challenging, but it's also got some of the best video game soundtrack, ever made; even for today!
You know what's worse, than a lot of these modern games, that try to make themselves look good, which are released for game consoles?
SOCIAL GAMES; the worst invention, for the entire game community. Especially since proper arcade video games, back in the day, were a better idea, to even BEGIN with! (Especially with Zynga, involved.)
The most important thing about a video game; it should be FUN! Social games, are the biggest waste of time, and are a waste of your money; even to the point where, if you want to play a game, just for laughs, and NOT for serious gameplay, you'd be better off playing "Shaq-Fu" or "Ballz 3-D"! (Of which, are on the "so-bad it's good" category, when it comes to fighting games! At least in the opinions of many people, and I am one of them. XD)

I'm in 100% agreement. Hell, for that matter you'd probably get more entertainment and gameplay out of a calculator than those social games. It also feels like a huge demographic mining op for email addresses and phone numbers so advertisers can pester you based on your interest in a given genre of game.

Tobuscus IS hilarious, isn't he?
He's also got a series, known as "Tobuscus Animated Adventures"; I HIGHLY recommend it, if you like getting laughs. (Though out of respect, the mobile app it mentions, doesn't even matter; it's just made for those, that are into the "mobile game" thing, as I would advise you to keep watching the cartoon, so you find out what happens, at the end of that game's plot. Because it's the CARTOON is what really matters, to be honest.)
