Here we are - the third of the D&D Pathfinder trifecta. Scourge is a black dragon who was raised from birth against everything he knew. From hatching he had a firm understanding of his ancestry and the power contained within. But try as he might, he found himself unable to fully rebel against his caretaker, Ezra, and he soon found his perspective on life growing more confused and shifting.
Scourge is a terrifying beast and a fright to behold. He fights without restraint, unleashing horrifying draconic fury on those that dare cross him. He remains true to his dark heritage of brutality and strength. And yet, his outlook has grown such that he turns his instincts into something different. He was amazed to find that in spite of his loyalty to his race and his draconic pride, a black heart such as his own managed to escape falling into evil.
Being around Ezra has shifted his alignment from Chaotic Evil to Chaotic Neutral. And a harrowing experience in a necromantic wasteland further changed his outlook. Now he fights with renewed purpose; never shying away from who or what he is, but instead using that to carve out his own legacy. One of power, yes. But one of compassion as well. For even a black heart can be purified.

So, after doing the Ezra picture, things seemed incomplete without finishing the trio. Plus, the latest Jackson & Jillian has just been tedious as hell to get through.
I'm super pleased with the pose he's got; rearing up to his hind legs in spite of being a quad. It was fun doing a more dangerous, alien-looking dragon; the multiple, beady red eyes made for a fun, unique touch. The only issue is that with Scourge being black, it can be hard to make his features and the lineart stand out. I'll keep working on that, but for now I think this turned out okay. No regrets. =)
EDIT: I didn't like the position of Scourge's right (left from our perspective) forearm, so I redid it from scratch. I like this a lot more, dood.
