"As I was returning to my bedroom, I they caught up to me. Adriana ran up with shirts on and their hair more under control.
"What the hell is wrong with your book on us?" The middle one shouted
Then the oen on the her right chimmed in "It doesn't answer anything about us!"
"It says we're all the same person?" The one of the left said "That can't be, we all think differently."
"Are we like some freaky conjoined tripletes?" The middle one asked "I don't get any of this.
I simply chuckled softly "You didn't just become triplets. What if you all are just parts of Adriana as a whole."
"That sounds like we aren't even Adriana." The right Adriana said
"I thought you said that we were all just people." the left one added
"People change." I said "Whether it's good or bad is what you make of it.
"Adept!" called Nic from down the hall, he ran my way frantically "Adept, I've got to know. Why are you doing this."
"Helping you all? You needed help" I said, answering the question I guessed he would ask.
He looked at me paused for a moment, and the he shook off the surprise "But you could have just left us."
"And let you die?" I said, "You have potential, all of you do."
"We would have died!" Nic looked at me in horror, but I just shrugged. "Well.."
"Actually, what are you getting out of it?" Adriana's middle self asked reaching out
The left one then said "No one just do something unless they want something out of it."
"Like what?" I asked "Company? The joy of helping others?"
"I.. I don't get you." The middle Adriana said
"Does that mean all of you don't understand?" I asked with a smile.
"What?" The right one said outloud then looked to her other selves. "Does it?"
I walked away until Nic ran up and grabbed my arm "Then what do we do now? We look like monsters, and we couldn't be around people without problems."
"You might, you might now, but I'd never let you be prisoners here." I said to him "If you want to talk with others, I'll work toward that."
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just say you won't have to go far." I said, "Just ask Sonne, she's learning that right now.""
