The fifth piece is in the Spliced Senshi series, an in effect, an inverse of the fourth piece. Whereas the last entry had those who would bring about splicing, we have those whom would be the greatest enemies and use such powers for evil.

On the left we have Professor Magellan Silverback, a disgruntled supers-scientist. Dr. Silverback grew up within one of the South African regions. While growing up, the white majority of South Africa's population were very oppressive of Magellan and the black community, believing them intellectually inferior. Silverback went to several boarding schools and prestigious colleges, obtaining much scientific knowledge, all with an intent to prove them wrong. During his time in school, he met Dr. Kay Mera and the two worked together to create Splicing. Dr. Silverback got his Splice for the sake of the brute power it would give him - he never really had time to work out in his youth, having dedicated his time to intellectual pursuits. Eventually, he returned to South Africa, hoping his achievements would change people's views.

He was wrong. After one too many comments from a co-worker, Silverback became irate and in the process, accidentally caused the overload of a tank of isobutane. The resulting explosion cost Magellan his right arm and leg, and left a large burn scar on his face. He was deemed mentally unstable by the South African government after the incident and forcibly kicked out of his home country. Angry, he moved his operation to a small area of the Congo. To provide permanent evidence of his scientific genius, he chose to, instead of using Splicing to regenerate his injuries, replace them with mechanical implements. Even including a sound enhancer on his right hear, allowing him to hear virtually ALL sound frequencies. He has built a small town, complete with automaton subjects. He funded his town by selling illegal arms, contraband smuggling and export of black diamonds he was having his automations mine. Recently, he has been working on using Splicing to create monstrous servants. This attracted the attention of one Tigris Pentharr...


Tigris Pentharr, a ruthless mob boss. Born in Italy to an Italian father and an African mother, as a child he was ruthlessly teased over his mixed race. Whilst the teasing grew ever slimmer and meaningless as Tigris grew, it nonetheless left a permanent mark on his psyche. His father's business as a merchant left the family well off, ad Tigris found home life rather pleasant... that is until "protection" taxes to the local mob brought everything to a halt. Tigris's father, needing relief, felt his only choice was to give his only son to the mob as an indentured servant. While this brought much relief for his parents, it brought nothing but hardship for Tigris. Tigris was beaten daily and trained in fighting arts, as the mob needed "filler" for its underground cage fighting tournaments where Tigris went on to perform far better than they had expected. Over the years, he acquired a massive sum of money, but lost it when the police raided the villa in which he was staying. After evading being busted by the cops, he used what little he had left to move to America, where he went to work with Don Voyyagi of the New York mob. Don Voyyagi was a genius when he came to money laundering, numbers, small ante-rackets, and other petty crimes. He taught Tigris everything he knew. Tigris later repaid the Don on his birthday...

With the Don dealt with, Tigris soon took over most of New York’s organized crime. Protection money, money laundering, and illegal gambling made up the majority of the Moore’s profits; although drug peddling had added a tidy profit here and there. Years passed and he tried to appear to the public as being ‘legit’ although most who knew him also knew where his wealth and estate came from. In more recent years, he had come into contact with one Dr. Magellan Silverback, whom offered a tidy sum to Tigris, if he could manage to acquire certain materials. High-technology, skilled computer programmers, and metal artisans. It was also through this exiled individual that Tigris came across ‘Splicing’. It seemed the man had a hand in its creation and had made an even stronger variation of it. Tigris, curious about being able to attain such power, decided to go along with it, ideas of his own having circled in his head for some time ever since Dr. Kay Mera introduced the medical procedure. Thanks to an enhanced combination cocktail of Siberian tiger and black panther, Tigris became a Nega-Siberian, a ‘Black Tiger’. He was now more dangerous than ever before. In the story, Tigris has recently started up an operation in Japan.
