I had this sumbitch ready tp go on the first of the month, but my ancient scanner decided to go into full "screw you" mode for a day or two, so here we are.
This guy has been renamed "Slug" or other things in more recent iterations of the character, primarily because the word is slang for 'slut' or 'whore' in the more Britishy parts of the world, It also became the standard "child-safe curse word" in shows like Beast Wars, but I can't completely let go of the classic name for the grumpy psychopathic yet oddly adorable robot Triceratops.
(there was also a time Hasbro tried to name a Transformer "Spastic". It went poorly)

New Power of the Prime Line has some things i am plan to get. Dinobots... in G1 inspired forms and transformations. So a definite. The combining aspect into Volcanus.. eh I am not sure on. I mean it was done in the comic at one point yes. So not like it isn't out of the blue.. still I'll have to see more of it. Slash.. being a tiny little raptor is new though doesn't work into the combiner form like some of the other ones from the Combiner Wars Lines..
But what I am hoping lives up to my expectations is the new Abominus we're getting. Hun-Gurr and Rippersnapper are already slated for first two waves so I expect not much longer after that. And given it's very much NEW molds on all them.. I hope this leads into Predacons.. and PREDAKING soon after.

The fact that the Dinobot Combiner is a new character and not 'The Beast' is a good thing. The Dinobots literally killed themselves making The Beast, and due to the completely unstable nature had to be destroyed afterwards. Volcanus is essentially an Autobot faction Predaking, which, by the way, good news, Predaking was already leaked some time ago. He's apparently being sold as a gift set.
yeah, predaking will be the titan class made of 5 voyagers similar to how devastator was done 2 years ago and don't forget abominus with the deluxe rippersnapper and voyager hun-gurrr shown at hascon, moonracer looks good, im all in on this line only disappointment for me was optimus primal, he turns into the fuselage of the jet mode of optimal optimus and is a hoverboard for the optimal gorilla instead of the season 1 gorilla
Theres nothing wrong with Slag at all, sure it can be used to refer to a 'loose woman' but frankly I've not heard it used that way in more than a decade, and I'm Welsh, everyone knows what we're like for swearing!

They are bringing the Dinobots back as a better designed combiner in the Power of the Primes follow up to Titans Return. I was just looking at the picture for Slag earlier. However I'm thinking they are trying to shoehorn Slash into the group. As he now has a G1 mold to match the Dinobots G1 design
Eh.. She's isn't going to be part of the combiner.. not unlike a lot of the Combiner Wars 6th members like Blackjack or Groove who was replaced with Rook. [Til they remade Groove Deluxe size]
