Last week was a heck of a trip through the vastness of human stupidity, and it left me feeling all sorts of feels. So, I did what I do, and let my feelings bleed out onto a canvas. No plan in mind, no questioning what comes, just pure unedited vent. Lemme tell you, man, that feels GOOD to do sometimes.

Looking back at it after the fact, I think I can kinda see what's behind it. I found myself placed on the bottom of the stack between two sets of blindly snapping and snarling jaws. I felt shattered, being both in the middle and the foundation holding things together. I felt a lot like the absence of an eye shows, needing to choose turning a blind eye to so many feelings in order to stay objective and keep my words kind. And I felt a snarl of my own, because it was a shitty place to be put in.

But it all worked out. And for that, I'm grateful.

...I thought long and hard before hitting the submit button here, trying to weigh whether or not I wanted to share the meaning of this piece or leave it to the imagination. I feel that it's worth sharing, though. Both because it might be interesting to read, and because of the release of doing so. And so, I choose to share these thoughts and reflections with you, my friends. I hope that they add a level of meaning to this creation.
