Ashanti is the leader and she is tough and strong. The name Ashanti actually means strong or powerful warrior. After all, I can't fight someone like that, especially in her turf with all her clan members around, and Jasiri knows I wouldn't stand a chance, even if she helped me, so I have no choice but to leave. But things do happen not much further into the comic though.
