Sadly we lost Tom Petty to a massive cardiac arrest. He literally just finished his 40th anniversary tour of the Heartbreakers just a few days prior.
I loved his music, songs, and when he teamed up in the Traveling Wilburys, a whole new group to appreciate the music. Sadly the Wilburys never recovered after the passing of Roy Orbeson.
And Tom's personal song "Running down a dream" is still poignant.
Plus how many recall he voiced Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt in 'King of the Hill'?

I hate to start Inktober this way.

The cosmic coincidence that someone, whose backing band was The Heartbreakers, should have his heart broken in the end...
I will always treasure the video of him returning to University of Florida in 2006 for The Heartbreakers' 30th Anniversary, and the hometown crowd just going wild on the very first chord of American Girl (added bonus that he had Stevie Nicks singing backup).

3rd, I hate them both for the same reasons everyone else does, one's a hypocrite who wants guns banned while surrounding his fat ass with armed security guards, and lambastes capitalism while making millions from his shitty leftist movies.
The other has proven herself to be a corrupt bitch who lies about being under enemy fire, and screwed Bernie Sanders over on the Democratic candidacy for the presidential election.
