Lineart of one of my serpents, possibly one of my best pictures to date, and one that I'm very proud of.
This is Irfan, one of Madora Lecta's (the serpent village in my world of Kir.) hunters. He was originally trained as a scout, but through some unfortunate circumstances, never completed this training and instead became a hunter. He's one of the oldest nagas alive right now, even older than Setreil, who is nearing 80 years. (My nagas have a lifespan of around 130-150. Kwythis was ancient, being almost 200 when he died.) This is obviously a picture of him when he was a little younger, lurking in the trees while he waits for some prey to pass by.
(If anyone cares, he's also a homosexual, and has a sweet little transvestite, human lover named Zayn. I would love to draw them together.)
But anyways, this was done in about 2 hours, and isn't fully detailed yet. I would really like to colour it, so I'm saving a lot of details until then.
Sidenote: He has a lot of earrings, which is somewhat of a symbol of his fierceness. My naga's ears are VERY sensitive, especially to pain, and the process of piering is a painful one indeed. He actually kind of enjoys the pain. But that was a random tibit you didn't need!
