This marks my 100th submission to FA!
Back in middle school I joined deviantArt with the username BlueOkapi, which simply came from the names of my favorite color and animal at the time. In high school, I joined FA and found it to be a much warmer community overall... My internet handle became my fursona, only intended to be a goofy mascot, but it grew with me instead.
Now, Blue (or Hal; he doesn't have a specific name) has become sort of a representation of how I relate to my past and present self, my body (specifically, trying to embrace my femininity), the people around me, and God/the world... As I get a better understanding of who I am, Blue acquires a little more depth to him as well. I'm excited to see how we both grow and change in years to come :^)

Thank ya, it's so fun to see all the different ways people interpret a character... Everyone you meet in life will see you a different way and I wanted to leave room for that. It's the best part of commissions for me! Recognizability IS a small concern, but as I build him up a little more I think his character will shine through.
Your character is so beautiful that i'm always at a loss for words on initial glance. I've loved this majestic creature from the second i first found you. I can't use the phrase 'HANDSOME BOI" enough, lmao. I just love you so much! Your character looks like their skin would feel like warm silky velvet ;0; And the stripes are so fetching!
