I have had the pleasure of knowing
SoreThumb for quite a long time! A remarkably supportive individual who always has something constructive to say or share with, his unique personality is one of a kind! I'll always be thankful of his friendship ^_^
This imagery was inspired from a theme of his back then, so it only seemed fitting to create a rendition of him as the Bionic Commando ^w^ The arm is more fashioned after the recent "Bionic Commando: ReArmed" edition, tho with some free artistic liberties to the actual device ^_^; The background however, is modeled after the original NES game! (ah, which I must confess was created in Photoshop ^^; Remember kids, you should try to make your vector art in Illustrator always!)

Haha, whoops. I was thinking of the wrong character. I think Bison was Generalissimo Killt or something like that.
But yeah, the leader looks like Hitler http://www.ugo.com/games/nes-moment.....iccommando.jpg xD

Well, yes and no ^_^; You can definitely draw vector lines in Illustrator, but treating them as whole "objects" with fill properties can be tricky. The real end result is being able to have a vector piece that is fully scalable to whatever pixel dimension you desire.
The problem with creating that "8-bit" style of background I used in Photoshop as rasterized objects is that I can no longer adjust the bkg image without some pixel distortion. Although, it wouldn't be too bad actually, given that lately I work in a 600 dpi workspace ^^;

omg ;_;
When I first clicked through, I said, "HOLY SHIT"... dude ;_;
So sweet of you to think of me and to make my less-used arm bionic ;_; Sure, I'm now no longer able to jump, but now I don't have to get up as often as I had before <:3
BTW: Loving the Master D up there <:3 Yes, I'll stick my thumbs up wherever I want!
wait a second... 8)
