Currently going to be working on a comic idea that revolves around a story of a small girl of the age of 13 years old who is going through chemo therapy for her cancer.
When her grandmother found out when she was diagnosed passed down a small teddy bear who is known as a "protector" to the family, a teddy she told her grand daughter stories of their adventures.
obviously she thought the stories where made up by this point but always loved the way her grand mother told them.

One night when everyone was gone in the late night hours a creature formed from her hostpital room door.
creeping over her and looking to consume her soul her teddy rises up and protects her from the creature making it form back into the closet.
but the creature had forgotten to close it all the way and the portal between reality and their world was still visable, shining a light that woke the child from her slumber.
curious she ventures through the portal and inside she feels "not sick"
like her illness had gone away, her hair had grown back and her pale features and fatigue had recovered.

going through this toon like world she goes on small adventures with the happy towns people of the world, but further and further she goes into this world she discovered the real natures of this world and some of the creatures who dwell in its dark corners.
