I was so impressed by Sarah Pacetti’s take on Hale that I decided to have her also do a piece on my Felinis thief character, Kabi Tipir. She knocked this one out of the park, too.

I had told her “consummate thief, more interested in stealing than having”, and this is where the idea of Kabi’s favorite marks being magic potions came from. I hadn’t even considered it yet, just thinking of her as a common cat burglar stealing anything shiny and not nailed down, but Sarah introducing potions as a preference was inspired. After all, they can only be used once, so possessing one is an ephemeral thing. Furthermore, they’re in fragile and tinkly containers, elevating the challenge of taking them even further.
